Il Castello Il Palagio finds itself in the Chianti Classico area of production, in the hearth of Tuscany, near the town Mercatale Val di Pesa.
You can arrive there from the highway Autosole; you have to leave the highway
at the exit Firenze Certosa and then take the superstrada ( expressway ) Firenze-Siena
until San Casciano. From there you have to go on until San Casciano Val di Pesa
and follow the signs to Greve in Chianti- Mercatale Val di Pesa. When you are
in Mercatale Val di Pesa you have to follow the signs to Greve until you find
signs to Il Palagio. There are 17 kilometers from the exit Firenze- Certosa
to Il Palagio.

If you are coming from Siena it's better to take the superstrada Siena-Firenze
and leave the superstrada at the exit Tavarnelle. From there you have to take
the statale Cassia ( main road ) and then follow the road to Florence (Firenze)
for about 200 meters and you will find a crossroads on the right and a sign
to il Palagio- Badia a Passignano. There are 6.5 km from the exit at Tavarnelle
to Il Palagio.

If you are coming from Pisa-Livorno you have to leave the superstrada at the
exit Ginestra. Then you have to follow the main road to San Casciano Val di
Pesa. From there you have to go on until San Casciano Val di Pesa and follow
the signs to Greve in Chianti- Mercatale Val di Pesa. When you are in Mercatale
Val di Pesa you have to follow the signs to Greve until you find signs to Il
Palagio. There are 22 Km from the exit at Ginestra to Il Palagio.
