All around Montefolchi there is a park . Don't expect a typical Italian garden; the park is a wide meadow which runs all around the building. If you have a walk there,on clear days, you will see great part of Tuscany. West you will see Mt. Pisano. the high and sharp peeks of the Tuscan Alps, the Apuane, the tower of the fortress of the imperor Federico II in San Miniato, and great part of the plain and the hills of the city of Empoli. North you will see the Appennines of Tuscany and Emilia with the high peek of Mt. Cimone, Mt.Albano, the city of Montecatini in the background and all the hills around Florence. Then East there is a beautiful view over the city of Prato, Florence and Fiesole, above which rises Mt. Morello. Always East you will see the chain of the Pratomagno, the Chianti mountains and most part of the Appenines of Tuscany and Romagna. South there is a beautiful view over the valley of the river Elsa, the hills of the Chianti, S. Gimignano and some of the fumaroles in the area of Larderello.
